Installation Instructions

  • Download the theme
  • Download the color scheme
  • Place the extracted theme in this folder - /.local/shared/plasma/look-and-feel
  • Place the color scheme file in this folder - /.local/shared/color-schemes
  • Open settings, appearance and select this theme
  • Logout and back in for all changes to reflect

Enjoy the new look and feel!

Please note that the above mentioned folder are found in your HOME folder. If they don't exist, you can create them manually. By default, the file browser will hide the above mentioned folders, so you will need to enable the show hidden folders. Dolphin is the default file browser for KDE and the shortcut for showing hidden content is Ctrl+H. This shortcut toggles this option on and off.

Try this out if you are bored with the regular whites, grays and blacks in most color schemes in KDE. Give you computer a unique personality with this scheme. DOWNLOAD this color scheme. Save it in /home/YOUR_USERNAME/.local/share/color-schemes/ Open settings - appearance - colors. You should be able to see the new color scheme listed. Click to select it and click the apply button for changes to reflect.
